your documents comply with the most recent version of Air Force Instruction 33-360.

- Standardized front matter conforming to AFI33-360
- Standardized page headers
- Justified text alignment
- Section, Chapter, and Part formatting
- Proper Signature Block placement
- Proper indentation of sub-paragraphs
- Returned XML and SGML documents will conform to the USAF Document Type Definition and the DOD mandate for XML and SGML
- Linked internal cross references and external URLs
- Proper numbering of document elements
- Table of Contents added for all documents over twenty pages
- Returned PDFs are fully bookmarked
-
Supplement Integration and Interim Change Incorporation
Supplements will be fully integrated into core documents, with full and correct structure, numbering, tables of contents,
cross references, front matter, and bookmarks. INFOCON can return stand-alone supplements as well, if required by the OPR. In addition, we can integrate
multiple levels of supplements (supplements to supplements).
Interim Changes (ICs) will be fully and properly incorporated into core documents. As with supplements, structure, numbering, tables of contents, cross references, front matter and bookmarks are added to all incorporated ICs.
-
Limited Requirements on Document Authors
We place very few requirements on document authors. Our tools allow us to process documents that have essentially no formatting. Authors should
concern themselves with content, not with making documents look pretty.
- There is no need to learn or use new templates for each document type. Create your Word documents the way you want; we will return properly formatted PDFs.
- We work with the images that are embedded in your Word documents, so we do not require separate image files in order to process AF documents.
- No special formatting needs to be applied to the front matter, tables, figures, etc. in your
draft documents. Our tools ensure that returned PDFs are properly formatted and have complete front matter.
- We search for and create all internal cross-references during our process. Authors are not required to mark cross-references by bolding text, applying
special character formats, etc.
- We add fully linked Tables of Contents to all documents longer than twenty pages, as required by AFI 33-360, and can add them to any document as needed.
-
One Business Day Turnaround
Documents of any type not exceeding 500 pages will be fully processed, integrated, and returned to the customer in one business day. Longer documents
will be returned within 3 business days. INFOCON offers priority processing if needed by OPRs.
-
Manual Review of Every Document
INFOCON prides itself on the level of service we provide our customers. Our Air Force Document Specialists review every document we produce to
ensure their completeness and correctness. We perform a page by page visual comparison between each source and completed document. In addition, we use tools developed
specifically for Air Force document processing to check for:
- Correct paragraph numbering
- Valid cross-references and web links
- Correct and complete front matter
- Properly linked and correctly numbered tables of contents
- Formatting according to the latest Air Force guidelines
