Overview

INFOCON’s document conversion department is staffed with highly-trained specialists with years of experience in legacy document conversion from various file formats including MS Word and WordPerfect to SGML/XML/PDF. Supported by specialized software tools designed to streamline the conversion process, they achieve outstanding results in terms of quality and efficiency.

Custom software tools enable us to tag, cross-reference, trouble-shoot, and return documents to our customers at rates of over 1000 pages in one business day. INFOCON has converted hundreds of thousands of pages of Word documents in full-service, customized projects and continues to serve customers’ conversion needs on a daily basis.

Conversion projects typically involve documents containing a full spectrum of publishing challenges including graphics, tables and figures, as well as extensive cross-referencing. We are fully equipped to handle any publishing requirement with extreme accuracy and speed.

Our programming department has created applications which take full advantage of the unique potential which XML and SGML structures offer by making integration of primary and secondary (and tertiary, etc.) documents a nearly automatic process.
